Release Notes: June 2015

Release Notes

RPR (website) v1.41
Released June 23, 2015

The June release of the Realtors Property Resource® website brings fresh enhancements, primarily for Commercial functions, as well as chart and contact information updates in Residential, within the website.

RPR Commercial

Building suites displayed in reports

In May, RPR added building suite data in regions where commercial data is sourced through Catylist. With this month's release, our Commercial Property Report now includes the details of any suites available for lease within a property. “Suite Details” is a new report section that can be included when generating a Commercial Property Report. When "Suite Details" is selected, specific information regarding each available suite, such as size and cost, is included within the report.

The Catylist CIEs are:

  • California Commercial Alliance
  • Gulf Coast CMLS
  • My Florida Commercial Real Estate
  • Northern Illinois Commercial Association of REALTORS
  • Indiana Commercial Board of REALTORS Inc
  • Kentucky Commercial Real Estate Alliance
  • Louisiana Commercial Database
  • Commercial Alliance of REALTORS West MI Grand Rapids
  • Commercial Board of REALTORS Michigan
  • Mississippi Commercial Associations of REALTORS
  • Commercial Association of REALTORS New Mexico
  • Rhode Island Commercial Information Exchange
  • Greater Chattanooga Association of REALTORS
  • Knoxville Area Association of REALTORS
  • Northeast Tennessee CMLS
  • REALTORS Association of Northeast Wisconsin MLS

More options for user-added property data

In Commercial Property Details, additional pre-named fields allow a user to add more data regarding a specific property in the Property Facts section. Fields such as highway and airport access, utilities, heating, cooling, parking spaces, and loading docks have been added for a user to easily select the field and compile more data about the property. Your additions will appear within the Commercial Property Report under the “Refinements” column to reflect that they were entered by you, and not populated by public records or listing data.

RPR Residential

Geographic boundary data refreshed

The geographic boundary data provided by Maponics has been refreshed. This includes an update of all of the map shapes such as census tracts/blocks, neighborhoods, ZIP codes, cities and counties. Walkability Scores (also provided by Maponics) were also updated in this refresh.

Listing agent office phone number

A listing agent’s office phone number appears on the Summary tab of a Property Details page for an active listing. The office phone number appears in addition to the agent's name, direct phone number, email, and office name and address, which already display on this tab.

Market Activity Report from map overlay

Users can generate a Market Activity Report, in addition to a Neighborhood Report, from the geographic overlays shown on a map. Users no longer need to save and name a search in order to create a report when searching MCDs/Townships, Cities, Census Tracts, ZIP codes, Neighborhoods, or Census Block Groups. Users simply select the map shape and links to create Neighborhood or Market Activity Reports appear at the top of the map. The links take the user directly to the report generation page with their area selected in the address.

Listing-specific distressed chart

A new chart summarizes distressed on-market properties. The listing-specific count appears on the Charts tab of a Property Details page, and is labeled “Inventory of Distressed Listings.” The chart shows the count of listed distressed properties in a ZIP code, and differentiate properties that are short sales or any stage of foreclosure. This chart is helpful to users interested only in listed distressed properties in an area. (An existing chart summarizes the larger set of distressed properties as identified in public records and MLS data that may be for sale or off market.)
