Let’s take a closer look at some of the changes you’ll see in our latest version, released on April 21.
The RPR navigation has been enhanced for both RPR Residential and Commercial platforms. As a result, the “tab” look is gone. The newly styled header navigation is simple, and locks into place as the page scrolls. Also, the Profile area containing contact information and other user preferences is now accessible by clicking on the sprocket icon to the far right.
On the Property Details page, the secondary navigation also has been cleaned up. As the Property Details page is scrolled, the top area, including the property address and navigation, locks into place and remains visible. The “Create a Report” button is larger and more prominent, and search is available from every page. We have also added a link to the corresponding Neighborhood section of RPR.
Owner Name - Public & Listing
Now in the “Homeowner Facts” section, RPR can display owner name from both MLS and public records sources side by side. This will help to identify differences between the two data sources.
Commercial Report Enhancement
The red banner on the RPR Commercial report cover page has been removed for companies and agents that have branding enabled. By removing the red background color, a company's branding stands out. For those RPR Commercial users that do not have Broker branding enabled, the reports will appear unchanged.
Data updates have been applied for all Esri demographic data and Tapestry data segments. Now, the most current 2014 data is available, including the updated and expanded 67 Tapestry segments. In addition, two indicators that were discontinued have been restored: Marital Status and Education Comparison. This demographic data is used in Commercial analysis, Commercial Trade Area Reports, Economic Area Reports. These updates will be noticeable while using Thematics Maps as well as the Trade Area and Economic Area reports.
Best results for Property Type
We have introduced a new prompt to notify users when a property should be viewed in RPR Residential vs. RPR Commercial. For example, if a commercial property address has been searched using RPR Residential, the user receives a message indicating that the property is a commercial property and offering to show the property in that context. More details are available for residential properties in RPR Residential and for commercial properties in RPR Commercial.
The upcoming RPR Mobile release adds the Property Flyer to the reports available via the app. This one-page property summary is intended for agents who want an easy way to produce a marketing piece for any residential property.
Like RPR’s other property reports, the Property Flyer is created by pressing the Reports button from within the app. Then, using the onscreen prompts, select which photo should appear, or upload your own. Enter a headline and description, and your Property Flyer is complete!
Walkability scores are now available in the “Location Details” section of RPR Mobile. Walkability comprises three scores, on a scale of zero to 5. The scores are calculated by Maponics, our data partner. Here is a quick overview on the scoring:
The Overall score is a rating of the length of time and distance to walk to general points of interest, and the availability of POIs (points of interest) within the area.
Amenity score: the walkability to POIs such as retail locations.
Leisure score: the walkability to POIs such as restaurants and parks.
