The first time you visit the RPR website (http://www.narrpr.com), you will need your NRDS ID to set up your account. When you arrive at the homepage, you will see two options: sign in (on the right) or create a new account (on the left) of the Homepage. To create your account, you will complete a total of 5 steps.
Step 1, enter only your last name and NRDS ID number. Press the blue "Submit" button. Your name and ID will be verified through the NAR database, and then you will be taken through a six-step wizard that walks you through the sign-up process, including creating your password to use the site and entering your contact information.
Step 2, you will select the state you are licensed in, select your MLS and enter your Agent ID (sometimes the Agent ID you need to enter is different than what you use with your MLS). If you need help locating your Agent ID and your MLS is "Live"/green, please call the RPR Customer Support Center (877-977-7576) for assistance.
You can add your Agent ID for any MLS or CIE you belong to, and this will ensure that you see property listings for the organizations that are partnered with RPR. You will also choose a primary MLS or CIE if you have more than one.
Your MLS or CIE may have a green, yellow or red status with RPR. Green status means you are good to go. This MLS or CIE is live in RPR, so you will exerpience full functionality of the site within the area of the MLS or CIE. Yellow status means that your organization is in the implementation phase of partnering with RPR, and data may be limited until the implementation process is complete. Red status means that your organization does not partner with RPR, and your access to data and features will be limited.
If you have no MLS or CIE, you can select "None" when you create your account. If you do not see your MLS or CIE listed on RPR, you can choose "Other," which will also limit your access to data and features.
Step 3, you will start to set up your RPR sign in credentials, including your sign in email address and password (the only requirement for an RPR password is that it is over 6 characters in length. RPR does suggest additional criteria for passwords, but it is not required). You can always reset your password from the Homepage, on your profile, or by calling the Customer Support Center. You will also be prompted to set up a security question (you get to create the question by typing the question out that you would want to be prompted with). The password, security question and security answer are case and punctuation sensitive.
Steps 4 and 5, you will start setting up your RPR profile with information that can display on your Report cover pages. You can enter as much or as little as you want. You can always edit your profile later by logging in to your RPR account and going to your Profile and Settings.
