How do I filter my search results?

Last Update: December 3, 2012

Filtering allows you to narrow the results of your search and find properties that most precisely fit your requirements. You can filter your search results using the left-hand column on the Search Results page. Select your criteria for filtering using the checkboxes and dropdowns, and then press the blue Apply button. Your search results will be narrowed to those properties that fit the ranges you selected.

Different filters are available in For Sale and All Properties searches. The criteria available in a For Sale search are:

  • Active or Pending listing
  • Distressed status (Non-Distressed, Foreclosure/Bank-Owned, Pre-Foreclosure/Auction, Short Sale)
  • Your listings
  • Listings with photos
  • Price range
  • Price per square foot
  • Number of bedrooms
  • Number of bathrooms
  • Size of living area
  • Lot size
  • Property type
  • Year built
  • Listed within a timeframe
  • Price changed within a timeframe
  • Open house within a date range
  • Features (Air-conditioning, attached garage, waterfront, etc.)
  • Year built
  • Keywords

The criteria available in an All Properties search are:

  • Distressed or Non-Distressed
  • Recently Sold (up to three years; properties sold in the past nine months are flagged as such in any search)
  • Owner name
  • APN number (aka Parcel/Tax ID)
  • Estimated value
  • Number of bedrooms
  • Number of bathrooms
  • Size of living area
  • Lot size
  • Property type
  • Year built
