How are bathrooms represented and displayed on RPR?

Updated: 4/16/2014

The standardization methods of RPR and the Data Aggregation Group of Black Knight Financial Services (BKFS), our partner, allow for flexible but consistent representation and display of bathrooms in RPR. The following conventions are supported:

  • MLS source feeds that separate the total number of baths into fields containing the number of full baths and the number of partial baths are directly interpreted by RPR’s import processes.
  • MLS source feeds that provide the total number of baths in one column and follow a standard x.0, x.25, x.5, x.75 convention for partial baths are directly interpreted by RPR’s import processes.
  • MLS source feeds that provide the total number of baths in one column and follow some other standard (e.g. x.1, x.2, etc.) for partial baths are separated into fields containing the number of full baths and the number of partial baths by the Data Aggregation Group’s import processes, so that RPR’s import processes can interpret them correctly.

The Home Facts section of the Property Details page displays the data in the same format received from the MLS, whereas the Search Results pages display a value that equates to the total number of baths, full or partial.

You can adjust the number of full and partial baths in the Home Facts section of the Property Details page, and the property's estimated value will change accordingly, or you can refine the value of the property based on the total number of bathrooms on the Comps & Estimated Value tab of the same page. Changing the number of partial bathrooms will not influence the property's estimated value.
