What is the source of the public records data, and how frequent are updates?

RPR licenses public records property data from the Applied Analytics division of Black Knight Financial Services (BKFS), the nation’s leading provider of mortgage processing services, settlement services and mortgage performance analytics. BKFS continuously scours public records sources across the country to aggregate one of the industry’s most robust, accurate and current data resources.

Tax assessment data is typically updated by public records sources on an annual basis. Deed, mortgage and foreclosure data are updated more frequently, as the data are made publicly available. Data updates from BKFS are delivered and integrated with the RPR system the day after a change is published in the BKFS source database.

Sales transaction data is displayed when multiple deeds are recorded on the same date. RPR acknowledges recordings with sale price info displayed first.
