Release Notes: January 2019

RPR is ringing in 2019 with many data updates to the site! We have also made creating an RPR account as easy as a few clicks and have simplified our password reset process. These enhancements were released on January 23. Read on to learn more.

Neighborhood Boundaries

Over 11,000 residential areas have been added or enhanced, particularly in areas including San Francisco, Baltimore and Orlando. This data, provided by Maponics, is refreshed quarterly. To check out the new neighborhood data, select Neighborhoods above the search bar and enter an area in the search bar.

Tip: If you are unsure of the neighborhood name, select Within or Nearby from the drop-down to select from a list of neighborhoods within or nearby the specified area.

Points of Interest (POIs)

This annual refresh updates over 12 million POIs on Commercial and Residential maps. Realtors can research neighborhood amenities and businesses when working with both residential buyers and commercial investors. Interactive map pins show each POI's business name, address, number of employees, sales volume, industry, and building square footage.

Click the POI button on the map to select parks, grocery stores, shopping, daycares, hospitals, restaurants and more.

Traffic Counts

Our yearly update from Kalibrate provides the latest traffic estimates and historical counts on
Commercial maps. Now more than 1.5 million streets display traffic count data. Begin by clicking the Traffic button shown on the map in Commercial mode.

Commercial Tenant Data

Tenant data, provided by SMR Research and refreshed quarterly, has been updated and now includes information on 8.5 million tenants. Tenant data is displayed on the Property Details page of a commercial property.

School Data

The quarterly refresh of school data, provided by Niche, includes updates to school ratings and community reviews.

We have also updated our school district boundaries. This data is provided quarterly by Maponics.

Flood Maps

Changes made to the FEMA designations in 2018 are reflected on our residential map. A heat map overlay shows an area’s flood zone designation as determined by the Federal Emergency
Management Agency (FEMA). Expand the residential map by clicking Bigger Map, then select Flood Zones from the Heat Map drop-down menu.

State Senate and Legislative Districts

The U.S. Congressional and Senate Districts, as well as state senate and legislative districts, have been updated to display new and adjusted districts. This data is refreshed at the beginning of each year.

Get Access to your MLS Data: This step is important because this is how your account is connected to your MLS data in RPR. Check to see if your MLS(s) is listed and that there is a green checkmark next to your Agent ID. If this information did not auto-populate, or if you belong to additional MLSs, select the state and MLS from the drop-down menus, add your Agent ID in the field provided, then click the Add button. Click the Finish button.

Tip: Your Agent ID is how your MLS identifies you on the agent roster that we receive from them. Sometimes it is the same ID that you use to log in to your MLS system.

If you have trouble with this step, don't worry, you can click the Skip button to finish creating your account, then call us for help at (877) 977-7576.
